Lumos Connect can take data from any of your internal or external systems, manipulate or reformat the data and then either place it in one of your own systems or store the data in our database for aggregation or reporting.
Most institutions will have a mixture of IT Systems. In an ideal world all of these systems would be capable of sharing data. Typically though that is not the case and attempting to aggregate data from a number of disparate sources takes hours of manual work or is just not possible.
For this reason, many institutions lack the kind of reporting that they need to be able to operate at optimum levels and in extreme cases are at risk of failing to comply with legaslative requirements, placing the institution at risk of financial penalties or worse.
Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem and it is called Lumos Connect. We already have plugins available for many of the popular applications used within the education sector and we are adding more all of the time. For in house systems we create bespoke plugins
Once we have collected your data, we are able to manipulate it based on your requirements. This can be as simple as changing a field name, reformatting a field or something more complex like performing a lookup based on an ID and then placing the record in to a different system against the correct student. We can also simply pull data from several sources to create a large master database for reporting purposes.
