The Lumos Secure Device is an Android tablet computer that can be ruggedized
for wall mounting, and can be fitted internally or externally to teaching rooms. The
secure device holders are easily modified to suit your requirements.
Using our Lumos Secure Device you have the added flexibility of capturing atten-
dance data, and accessing other content using smart card or biometric credentials.
If a student attempts to register for attendance at the wrong venue, the device will
reject their credential and advise them of the correct location.
Our proprietary Lumos Secure Device provides tremendous adaptability and pow-
er. However, Lumos will connect to approved retail devices. This gives you great
flexibility, by offering you the freedom to purchase your own supported tablet, or
by selecting a device that we will supply and fit for you. Yes, you can choose a solu-
tion that suits your budget.
Once installed, the Lumos Secure Device, or approved retail tablets, can be used
to deliver other relevant content to staff and students. You can even allow users to
interact with the system, across a network using Wi-Fi or Ethernet, perhaps quickly
booking a room at the door for a meeting with a student, if the room is available.
